On a snowy weekend in late January, a “who’s-who” of major cannabis industry players gathered together for Denver’s Indo Expo 2019. Canna-businesses of all types were represented; with over 350+ exhibitors present, the extensive list included companies, brands, and product lines, showcasing the latest equipment, lighting, nutrients, greenhouses, supplies, tools, lifestyle and much, much more.
Some of our central mottos here at PCG are the constant pursuit of excellence, and the intention of increasing transparency, research, knowledge and collaboration within the emerging legal cannabis field. Therefore, events such as the Indo Expo are vital for us to attend, both as an exhibitor and as a forward-thinking business entity dedicated to providing the best possible products for our clients and for our environment.
We shared our booth with our good friends the Original 420 Brand, which manufactures the excellent DeBudder Bucket Lids – and with Trim Bags. As you can see from our recap video, thousands of cannabis enthusiasts turned out to witness for themselves the plethora of innovation that has seized the industry in recent times.
With the signing of the recent Hemp Bill, we are seeing an accelerated response from growers and manufacturers. Denver’s 2019 Indo Expo included a platform within its main halls dedicated to the power of industrial hemp, with showcases from American-made hemp products and a select group of vendors.
Another highlight of the Expo were the interesting and informational seminars led by some of the Canna Biz’s leading industry professionals. The keynote speaker, Dr. Sue Sisley MD (Scottsdale Research Institute, LLC) delivered a pertinent presentation entitled “Navigating barriers to Cannabis research —a relentless crusade to study the efficacy of dry bud”. In addition, there were professionals in fields such as cultivation, extraction, breeding and genetics, and many more who offered their exclusive expertise to those fortunate enough to attend.
Denver’s Indo Expo 2019 was a smashing success by all accounts (especially ours), and we can’t wait to be back in 2020! Stay tuned to the ProCannaGro blog for more industry news and happenings, and for the latest products to make your cultivation efforts the best they can be.
